BIG news

Alot of BIG news have been going on lately; eg. the edison's scandalous photos, lydia sum's death, which also lead to her ex-hubby, adam cheng's 负心汉 news.

However, i think the only news that REALLY REALLY capture my attention, is this:

Manhunt for escaped militant suspect in Singapore

OMGGGGGGGG.

Something that really frightens me okay. 2008 is sucha disastrous year!

Please help to look out for him; but i'm not sure how he looks like... :( but maybe they should release his photos so we're able to watch out for this SUPER dangerous person.

Sacrifices

Too many of them left.

I could still remember the look on their faces when we travel together... they are always laughing, drinking together, cracking jokes ... but now, they're all gone.

Some of them were forced to leave,

some of them volunteer themselves...

They say this is a wake-up call for us; but i think it's the other way round.

They are still traveling so frequently... Don't they know that if they can avoid flying 2 times in a month, they can afford to pay one of them another month's salary??

Their leaving is really a great loss to the company... but do the mgt actually care?? They don't.

They all work so hard for this company, but what they got in return is just a "good package" where the mgt mentioned that they've tried their very best to fight for them for this wonderful package. My ass.

........................................................................................

We used to be so different in the past; we get to fly every quarterly, received vouchers for good performance; get to eat good food for every staff's birthday; get replacement leave for meetings...

and now, we don't have them anymore.

Expected

I already expected this to come sooner or later.

Whatever it is, we have to face it together.

I'm so sorry for those who are leaving.

And it really really hurts to see offices being forced to close down.

.......................

I hope what he says will come true.

When is the next big wave of orders coming?

HK: Misfortunes

The encounters we met is really really hilarious.

As you know the weather is freaking cold and windy, both of us only wore a thin jacket without any long john! Without much choice, we had to visit those shops immediately to get a decent coat as we were planning to go up The Peak. Without the coats, we will probably die there.

We wore only like that!

And we became like this after experiencing their "Han Liu"...

Still, IT'S NOT ENOUGH!

The wind was like blowing directly into our bones!

I was forced to smile...

Totally crazy!

Things started to get a wee bit better with proper clothings but still, jokes carried on.

Disneyland is raining.

Mickey Mouse is being sheltered under an umbrella; something you'll never get to see in normal days?

Okay, how does it feel when you're in a ride and suddenly the whole thing stops and they announce that the system is jammed??

Yes, this was taken during the jam.

We were stuck in that "train" for a good 10 minutes; finally the staff came to rescue us one by one.

We then had to walk all the way to the exit by ourselves.

!!??!!!!

Alright, then the following day we planned to go up Lantau Island to see the Po Lin Buddha.

The temperature went down to 11 degrees, and it's really testing my patience.

After we alighted at Po Lin Temple, we couldn't figure out where is the temple because of the mist. We exchanged glances and decided to seek help from the mama shop at the back of the bus stop.

"Turn left and walk straight; it's just infront."

And it's really just infront but we couldn't see anything!!!!

Maybe this.

It's like a circle thingy with flags and i could see devotees praying at one direction, into the mist.

Then finally the statue of the Po Lin Buddha.

Thank you very much.

This is an example of what you will see in a clear day.

We figured our way back to the bus stop and hoping no bus will actually bang into us 'cause we can't see them unless they're like 3 metres ahead of us.

What's more to come??

...

We actually took the wrong train 2 times to 2 different directions...!!

Story starts when we came from the "Tung Chung" direction, and we planned to go Mongkok for some shopping. We're supposed to take the train to "Lai King" and go down to "Mongkok".

Who knows the ride was really comfy (maybe because it's really warm), and we actually missed the "Lai King" Stop and arrived at "Nam Cheong". We then took the train back to "Lai King" thinking that we're finally on the right track back but who knows...

After a good 15 minutes taking wrong train plus waiting time, we were FREAKING shock to know that we're arrived at the TERMINAL STOP, "Tsuen Wan"!!!!!!

...

We took another 20 minutes to go back to Mongkok.

ARGHHHHHH

We wasted around 30 minutes altogether.

...

There are still quite a number of funny things but it's too minor to mention. Anyway we still enjoyed the trip despite the weather and all these misfortune befalling on us. Haaaaa >.<"

Of course we hope we'll have a better trip next year!!!

HEE. Next stop, ... ????

HK: Local Food & Disneyland

Time for some serious blogging for my trip to Hong Kong.

The weather in Hong Kong is really killing me... previously i thought it was only 16 - 17 degrees so i just brought my adidas and puma jacket thinking it can actually withstand the coldness. It's true, i was wearing really thin jackets in Europe and it was OK! =(

But little do i know that Hong Kong is actually experiencing their "Han Liu" and the degrees drop from 17 to ... 11!

I almost died every night in sleep 'cause it's always freaking cold when we're in the hotel. It's totally impossible to ask me to remove the coat unless i really want to bathe and Zzzzz.

I already wanted to go home on the first day!

Things started getting better when i'm distracted by their delicious food and the generous heater in their restaurants.

I'll let the pictures do the talking.

Food taste especially good there! I haven't try anything that taste rather bland or awful during that few days. So overall i'm quite a happy girl there. =)

Hong Kong Disneyland... doesn't really impress me; maybe because of the limited rides, and maybe it was like 99% raining all the time.

Outdoor shows and parade had to be cancelled due to the rain, and since everyone was trying to get shelter, they started queing for rides and everywhere started having long queues!!

We spent most of the time do shopping in their gift shops, eating at the River Jungle Restaurant and taking long boring tram to go around the whole Disneyland. Oh, maybe also queing to take photographs with the Disney characters.

Another thing which makes me PISS from arriving the hk gate till departing the gate is the XXXXX people there!!! Whoa goodness sake, they really really drives me crazy.

Firstly they're so uneducated! They knock into you yet they just push their way thru the crowd without apologizing. Secondly they're so kiasu! They skip queues for the rides and don't fuck care if you're glaring at them lor.

This could be the reason if i refuse to go HK the next time. Awww, now i think Macau is the same too. ARGH. We'll see.

Alrightly, i'll stop here first. Needa clean my super dusty room............

Yea, i know it's abit sudden. HAAAA
